Shackles manufactured in accordance with DIN 82101 are approved for lifting applications. They are suitable for connecting lifting equipment and loads in a variety of lifting applications. The surface treatment varies according to the shackle size: shackles with a lifting capacity of 6 t or less are electro-galvanized, while shackles with a lifting capacity of 8 t or more are hot-dip galvanized.
